Take On A Mighty Hike For People Living With Cancer

Macmillan’s Mighty Hikes are a series of rewarding, one-day hiking marathons covering eight beautiful locations across the UK, raising much needed funds for Macmillan to continue to help everyone with cancer to live life as fully as they can.

Last year over ten thousand people hiked a mighty 2,203,200 miles and raised £5.75million between them, with every penny helping Macmillan to provide emotional, financial, medical and practical support to the 2.5million people living with cancer in the UK. Whether it’s for an individual goal or a group bonding experience, hiking 26 miles is an amazing achievement and all hikers are encouraged to ask loved ones for sponsorship towards their challenge.

The first event of the year is the South Coast Mighty Hike (8 June) set along the stunning South Downs Way from Brighton to Eastbourne, and the final hike of the series taking place in the Wye Valley (7 September) from Chepstow to Monmouth, featuring the beautiful Tintern Abbey along the way. See below for more information on the different Mighty Hike locations.  Take On A Mighty Hike For People Living With Cancer
